Global software company HansaWorld has been short-listed for the Accountancy Age Awards 2009 in the category 'Mid-tier Software Package of the Year'.
HansaWorld's flagship product, Enterprise by HansaWorld, has twice in the past received the Accountancy Age Award in the same category already, in 2006 and in 2007.
The awards recognise the best in business practice and in the public and voluntary sectors across the UK.
“We recognise that accountants in the UK are conservative, and resistant to solutions other than from the big brands. That's why it means much to us to have won the Accountancy Age Awards two years running, and once again to have been recognised on the shortlist,” says Stephen Jay, HansaWorld International Sales Director. “We hope that our continuing focus on innovation will translate into improved visibility and reputation among UK accountants, and in turn, support their willingness to get their clients to check out what makes us so different.”
HansaWorld's entry this year picked out several innovations added recently, including:
* Real-time users for Apple's iPhone, covering point of sales, management reporting, time and expenses;
* A completely restyled real-time Webshop, with impressive configuration options and supporting size and colour matrixes for the fashion industry; and
* Real-time business intelligence through pre-written templates.
Kevin Clarke, HansaWorld South Africa country manager, says awards such as the Accountancy Age ones are essential in building the credibility of the vendor. At the mid-tier, our offering is not only very competitively priced, but it includes innovations that deliver real business management advantages. With two awards already, that goes a long way to providing independent assurance of the HansaWorld value proposition.”
He adds that HansaWorld is enjoying significant growth not only into Africa, but also new geographic markets, having entered the United States, Canada, Brazil, Singapore, the Philippines and Vietnam. This, says Clarke, makes HansaWorld a particularly strong choice when clients are looking for international features such as multi-language, multi-currency, strong real-time consolidation and 24x7 server uptime.
The gala event takes place on 18 November at Battersea Park Arena in London.
