Local Harris distributor IDXOnline has announced that Harris Corporation has been awarded a $7 million contract by the US Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
The three-year task order is part of the Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS) Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) program.
IDXOnline Enterprise Solutions business manager Bruce Bean says "the MNIS program provides a consolidated approach to the information sharing that is required to ensure future multinational command and control interoperability between the Department of Defense (DoD) and allied forces."
Under the terms of the contract, Harris Technical Services Corporation (HTSC) is providing systems engineering and integration (SE&I) support for a broad range of technical processes; systems engineering; and the operational, sustainment and management functions of DISA`s MNIS program.
