Solver, the Microsoft Gold partner and business intelligence specialist, sponsored Microsoft's Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 launch in Johannesburg in conjunction with Harvey Jones, a leading business intelligence solutions provider.
Solver developed the training material for PerformancePoint Server for Microsoft globally and trained Harvey Jones consultants and selected partners on corporate performance management solutions. Harvey Jones was the first company in South Africa to be certified on Microsoft's PerformancePoint Server 2007 solution. "Solver wrote an add-on, called Business Intelligence Studio, which complements PerformancePoint's existing functionality. In addition, we will use an accelerator, ProfitBase, to ensure rapid implementation," says Keith Jones, MD of Harvey Jones.
ProfitBase 2007 is a rapid configuration data warehouse tool that significantly reduces time-to-value. It simplifies the integration of PerformancePoint Server into the operational data of the business which results in faster implementation and deployment of business intelligence solutions."
