Digital lifestyle specialist, Pinnacle Micro, has announced the immediate availability of Apacer's Photo Steno Pro III 150X and Photo Steno III 88X CompactFlash cards, created specifically for professional photographers who use fast, high-end DSLR cameras.
The 150X card offers super fast read/write speeds, with large capacities, reliability and compatibility to meet the very specific requirements of professional photographers.
"Using the 150X CompactFlash card allows users to easily capture fast sequences of pictures and transfer the images quickly for processing or delivery," says Rudi Thietz, procurement director: channel at Pinnacle Micro.
He goes on to say that the cards feature high performance controllers with high compatibility, advanced file management for faster transfer rates and wear-levelling technology for longer product lifecycles. An Error Correcting Code (ECC) function is also included to detect and correct errors automatically.
All these factors contribute to the Photo Steno Pro III 150X card's fast sequential read/write speeds of 24MB/s and 21MB/s, large capacity up to 8GB and excellent reliability.
Both cards are part of Apacer's Professional Photo Series that support high megapixel images and continuous high-speed shooting so professionals never miss a shot at sporting events and other occasions where the action is ongoing.
The 150X card comes in 1GB to 8GB sizes and the 88X in 512MB.
