Highest resolution projector unveiled

A new pico projector has emerged from a company called AAXA Technologies, offering the highest resolution for a device its size, according to TechRadar.

While pico projectors haven't exactly taken over the market at the moment, the technology is improving quickly, and the price falling too.

The new P2 projector has a resolution of 800 x 600, which is the highest available from a pico projector today.

Hitachi intros network projector

Hitachi has expanded its line of projectors with the CP-X3010N with added connection features, states Electronista.

The device offers the same basic features as the CO-X3010, but adds an Ethernet port and 802.11g/n connectivity.

The projector also features integrated 16W speakers, 3 000-lumen brightness and a contrast ratio of up to 2 000:1.

China pushes AV competition

China's press regulator has told state-owned audio and visual publication houses to become self-supporting and more competitive in the market, reports China view.

The move also aims to make the industry more creative.

Audio and visual publication houses affiliated to higher learning institutions and local governments, except non-profit organisations, should complete the process before the end of this year, the General Administration of Press and Publications says.
