Research results and predictions
* Almost one billion smart connected devices were shipped in 2011, and by 2016 this number is expected to have doubled, according to IDC.
* MEA server shipments grew 10.3% in Q4 2011, although revenue only increased 2.9%, according to Gartner.
* Worldwide SaaS revenue is expected to reach $14.5 billion in 2012, according to Gartner.
