HP addresses mid-market challenges
Hewlett-Packard (HP) executives have spotlighted financial solutions aimed at getting HP's offerings into mid-market CIOs' hands, despite the challenges of the current economy, says Channel Web.

BT unveils business continuity solution
Global network operator BT has rolled out a business continuity offering to help protect its contact centre customers in the event of a natural disaster, reports TMCnet.
The hosted service, called BT NGCC Protect, is part of its next-generation contact centre portfolio.
According to the company, the service can work as a standalone solution or alongside existing contact centre technology.
Lumeta, Hitachi to reduce
Lumeta, a provider of network discovery solutions for enterprise and government agencies, has partnered with Hitachi Data Systems to bring advanced network discovery capabilities to mid-market organisations, states Reuters.
The company has integrated IPsonar, a network discovery and network mapping solution, with Hitachi IT Operations Analyser version 1.2 to ensure comprehensive visibility for network monitoring in data centres.
David Hickey, Lumeta's president and CEO, says, "The integration of our IPsonar product with Hitachi IT Operations Analyser allows companies to improve efficiencies and reduce risks in the data centre through global network visibility."
