HP's latest total partner experience survey shows close to 80% of South African partners are happy, but the company says it plans to improve this rating in 2007.
"Continuous improvement is non-negotiable and we are constantly working towards increasing the levels of partner satisfaction," says Thierry Boulanger, manager of HP's solutions partner organisation in SA.
Boulanger says HP plans to improve local partner satisfaction this year by focusing on before and after sales support as well as providing help with generating business leads, explains Boulanger.
According to the survey, 75% of HP's nearly 4 000 preferred partners in 29 countries across the EMEA region felt HP's partner programme impacted positively on their profitability.
"The success of our channel strategy is a testament to the fact that the indirect model is the best way to go."
In addition to support for local partners, HP also plans to intensify its specialisations programme for partners in 2007. Boulanger says this will contribute to ensuring HP's channel in SA is one of the most certified in the region.
