HewlettPackard Company has announced immediate price cuts on two popular networking switches.
HP has cut the price of HP ProCurve Switch 2224 (J4095A) from R6,400 to R4995 (a 15 percent cut), and HP ProCurve Switch 408 (J4097A) from R1995 to R1495 (a 13 percent cut).

In many parts of the world, HP also provides nextbusinessday advance product replacement at no additional cost as part of the standard warranty.
