One of the latest additions to HP`s printer series, the Deskjet 450, is now available from South African distributor Rectron.
The Deskjet 450 connects to notebooks, PDAs and mobile phones, enabling printing anytime, anywhere. These include Windows notebook, Macintosh PowerBook, Pocket PC, Palm OS and Win CE handhelds.
"The HP Deskjet 450 is a compact printer that adheres to users` reliable, high-performance colour and mobile printing needs," says Zandr'e Rudolph, HP product manager at Rectron.
The Deskjet 450 enables wireless connectivity with Fast IR, CompactFlash card or HP`s Bluetooth printer card.
Printing up to 9ppm (pages per minute) in black and 8ppm in colour, the Deskjet 450 also offers a resolution of 4 800 x 1 200 optimised dpi.
He comments: "The Deskjet 450 drives down total cost of ownership (TCO) as its long-lasting print cartridges print up to 450 black and white pages and 400 colour pages."
Enhancing mobility, the 450`s lithium-ion battery prints 350 pages per charge, while recharging in 1 1/2 hours.
