According to IT Wire, Google Cloud Print can be used from the mobile versions of Gmail and Google Docs, and via the Cloud Print app for Android, the print using Google Cloud Print extension for Google Chrome and the Cloud Printer add-on for Mobile Firefox.
Google began to make Google Cloud Print available to ordinary users in January this year. The feature was initially only enabled for printers connected to Windows PCs running Chrome, but was recently added to the Chrome for Mac beta version.
Revealed this time last year, Google Cloud Print provides a mechanism for Web apps to print to any supported and available printer without relying on the operating system used to access or run the software.
HP says that all e-print users have to do is associate their printer with a Google account to start printing, notes The Inquirer.
Meanwhile, the Business Insider says the printers also work with Apple's AirPrint and HP's own e-Print, which function much the same way Cloud Print does.
