HP empowering businesses of all sizes

Johannesburg, 06 Apr 2009

HP has launched the 12th HP Print Station in South Africa, at the Invent store in Randburg yesterday, to empower businesses, enterprises, and entrepreneurs alike. This unique service ensures the community has a reliable, professional, and convenient one-stop printing shop to enhance any business or marketing collateral.

HP Print Stations are HP branded stores focusing on service and convenience that will primarily address small and medium enterprise customers and will cater for a range of printing applications. The HP Print Stations will be operated by HP partner ACT to address a range of customer segments.

“HP Print Stations are being rolled out throughout the country to address specific customer needs based on customer feedback that HP has received. These needs, which we wish to address with the store concept include: making high quality printing accessible and fast for the travelling business person; simplifying and speeding up the process of getting printouts; improving the quality of printouts; and, providing equipment for special printing applications. We plan to roll out a few more stores in South Africa within the next year,” says Nathan Nayagar, LES country manager at HP South Africa.

“We are excited to be part of the launch of HP Print Stations in South Africa. This is a unique customer-oriented initiative, bringing more convenience, high quality and cost-effectiveness to every single audience,” says Lena Campanile, key account manager at ACT. “We have identified several other key locations across South Africa and we will be interviewing prospective Print Station partners over the next few months.”

The HP Print Stations will offer benefits for individuals who are looking for convenience and quality; professionals who require specific solutions for their specialised applications; and businesses that need high volume printouts and are looking for cost-effectiveness and quality.

Service, quality and convenience factors are what make these stores unique, and the intention is that in the near future they will offer a complete basket of printing requirements, from photo printing all the way up to poster or outdoor banner printing.
