HP expands printer portfolio
“The mobile workforce and trends in telecommuting have altered the business landscape and technology requirements in recent years, and customer expectations have never been higher when it comes to printing,” says Stephen Nigro, senior VP of imaging and printing group, HP.
The PC Advisor reveals that the HP Officejet 100 Mobile Printer is a colour inkjet printer specifically designed to be a portable model for users such as estate and insurance agents.
The printer features a 50-sheet paper tray. In draft mode, HP says it can print at up to 22 pages per minute in black and 18 pages per minute in colour.
Using the ISO/IEC 24734 printing standard, HP claims the speed clocks in at five pages per minute for black or 3.5 pages per minute for colour.
The device is also capable of connecting to a PictBridge compatible device to print lab-quality, borderless four to six-inch photographs.
