Hewlett-Packard, - distributed to the South African channel by Rectron, - has introduced a number of upgrades and replacements to its printer ranges.
The HP Photosmart 7760 replaces the Photosmart 7350, while the Photosmart 7150 is replaced by the 7660 series.
The Photosmart 7760, for example, now features a 4.6cm colour LCD and a range of tools for selecting, editing and previewing images director from any memory card.
Says Zandr'e Rudolp, HP product manager at Rectron: "Users will find that the new printer ranges offer them even more functionality and versatility. Through these replacements, HP is striving to perfect a winning formula."
HP DeskJet ranges have also seen some replacements. The DeskJet 3420 and 3820 are respectively replaced by the DeskJet 3550 and DeskJet 3650.
In addition, the DeskJet 5150 as well the 5652 colour inkjet printers replace the 5550. Both these printers offer true-to-life photo quality, which is enabled by HP`s Photoret IV precision technology for grain-free images.
"The DeskJet 5150 supports a wide variety of home printing projects with advanced photo features, true-to-life photo quality and fast printing speeds, while the 5652 offers additional duplex printing and a choice of USB 2.0 or parallel connectivity," he says.
