HP intros financial management solution

HP has added a solution to its IT financial management portfolio to help IT executives establish financial transparency and take action in areas where they can optimise costs, states EFY Times.

The HP Financial Planning and Analysis solution enables CIOs to run IT like a business and demonstrate the business value of IT services.

The solution brings together software and services to provide improved visibility, governance, accountability and predictability to IT finance.

QlikTech, a global business intelligence (BI) company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Path Infotech, a provider of software solutions and services in India, reports Business Standard.

"Customers will benefit from the combined power of QlikTech's business intelligence offerings and Path Infotech's rich expertise in providing software services", said QlikTech regional manager, India and South Asia, Raghunathan, in a release.

He added: "Together, QlikTech and Path Infotech are both focused on enabling Indian businesses utilise their IT implementations to deliver business value.”

Panorama Software, a company specialising in proactive BI solutions, has unveiled NovaView Version 6.0, an integrated suite of Web-enabled BI applications, says TMCnet.

According to the company, NovaView is the only pure MDX-based BI solution that works natively on organisations' existing platforms, models and data.
