South African distributor, Rectron, now offers the compact HP LaserJet Printer series comprising of the 1022, 1022n and 1022nw printers to South African users.
The HP LaserJet 1022 printer series was particularly designed for the value-minded micro and small business user who is faced with a great number of tasks and subsequently requires a reliable and performance-driven professional printing solution.
Compact and lightweight at only 5.5kg, the 1022 series has 8MB memory and features a processing speed of 266MHz. Instant-on technology also allows for an eight seconds first page out time, from warm or cold starts.
Fill the main tray with 250 A4 sheets along with the adjustable 10-sheet multipurpose input slot for special media, and print up to 18 pages per minute (ppm). The printer also features a labour-intensive 8 000-page per month duty cycle.
"The LaserJet 1022 series can print business-quality documents with 1 200dpi print quality, or if users prefer Economode which saves up to 50% toner at 600dpi," comments Zandr'e Rudolph, HP product manager at Rectron.
A host-based driver processes complex print tasks utilising both the PC processor and memory without the cost of additional printer memory.
Also, Hi-speed USB 2.0 connectivity helps users quickly set-up, use and maintain the printer.
The HP LaserJet 1022 Printer series offers optional 10/100 connectivity (LJ1022n/nw only) that delivers fast network printing and 802.11b/g (LJ1022nw only) enabling wireless capabilities.
Conveniently compact, this small HP LaserJet printer fits easily into work environments. Additionally, cartridge replacement is enabled through single-door access to the cartridge bay.
