HP presents Designjet printer
HP released the new HP Designjet 510 printer series, the company's most affordable standalone printer designed for small studios, which print technical drawings in-house, reports TenLinks.
The HP Designjet 510 builds on HP's best-selling large-format printer, the HP Designjet 500, which has sold more than 500 000 units.
The HP Designjet 510 offers the same reliability and quality with enhanced functionality and ease-of-use and includes new features such as HP-GL/2 in-printer processing technology and HP Instant Printing Utility 1.0.
Toshiba offers network solution
Toshiba has made available its value-added e-Bridge Fleet Management System, a no-cost software solution providing Toshiba customers complete and centralised administration capabilities for their network multifunction products and printers, according to MarketWatch.
The system comes complete with automated meter readings and status notifications, which improve office efficiency and reduce operational costs.
"Now more than ever, our customers are concerned with efficiency and the bottom line. Those who take advantage of this solution from Toshiba will be able to address these concerns without having to make an investment decision," said Joe Contreras, Toshiba's director of product and solutions marketing.
Canon unveils monochrome MFPs
Addressing the evolving needs of the small business market and workgroup environments, Canon unveiled a new series of monochrome imageRunner multifunctional printing (MFP) systems, according to PR Canada.
The imageRunner 1025/1025N/1025iF models will replace the imageRUNNER 1023 series, as the next generation of desktop environment solutions from Canon, adding new levels of efficiency and image quality to Canon's array of laser-based MFP offerings.
All models operate at up to 25 pages-per-minute based on letter-sized output and print images at up to an enhanced 1200x600dpi resolution.
