HP releases low-solvent ink
HP has released its HP 781 and 791 printing supplies for the HP Designjet 8000, HP Designjet 9000 and HP Designjet 10000 Printer series, reports Graphicrepro.
Designed specifically for these low-solvent printers, the new ink formulations provide reliable performance, ease of use, and produce vivid, durable prints for high-impact signage.

Konica Minolta unveils printer
Konica Minolta has unveiled its magicolor 7450 II grafx printer for outstanding colour quality in creative work environments, according to North Denver News.
The system is based on the magicolor 7450, which won several accolades on its print engine.
The new magicolor 7450 II grafx boasts print speeds of 24.5 pages per minute, standard memory (768MB), and duty cycles up to 120 000 impressions per month, while allowing unlimited creativity in demanding network environments.
Olympus releases sturdy digicams
Olympus has added two ruggedly designed digital cameras to its recently rebranded Stylus Tough line-up, reports imaging resource.
The Olympus Stylus Tough-6000 and Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 can survive a five-foot drop, shoot photos 10 feet under water and won't freeze up at temperature as low as -10 degrees Celsius, according to the company.
The 6000 model offers 10 megapixel resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, and a 2.7-inch LCD display. The 8000 model boosts the resolution to 12 megapixels, while retaining the same lens and display.
