HP unveils imaging range
HP has released imaging and printing devices, supplies and solutions for its enterprise customers, reports The Malta Independent.
The company has added five enterprise solutions focused on customers in the healthcare, public sector, automotive and financial services industries. It has also introduced three imaging and printing solutions.
The devices released include the colour LaserJet CM3530 MFP, the CP3520 printer series, the Scanjet N6310 document flatbed scanner, the P2050 printer series and the P2030 printer series.
Kodak displays print range
Kodak's range of electro-photographic solutions will be on display at Graph Expo 2008 in Chicago this week, states Newswire.
Kodak's NExpress Digital Production Colour Presses, which feature dimensional printing, are designed for a range of applications including marketing, direct mail, statements, photo products and packaging.
NExpress offers users new colours, finishes, and printing effects while dimensional printing, Kodak's latest development, offers a raised or tactile printing effect that provides images with a dimensional feel that mimics the surface of the items in a photograph.
Xante improves FastCards solution
Xant'e has released an improved version of its FastCards automated software solution for printers, says Packaging Essentials.
The desktop-sized FastCards solution is an automated, integrated printing system that aims to deliver high resolution, full-colour prints. FastCards combines the Xant'e Ilumina full-colour digital press, a flatbed scanner, and AdvancedScan scanning and imposition technology in a system designed for rapid production output.
"We introduced FastCards last year as a concept solution; customer reaction was phenomenal. We opened the floodgates to new business opportunities particularly with our core users of small to mid-sized shops," said Robert Ross, CEO of Xant'e.
