HP unveils mobile printer

TechWorld reports.

Measuring 350x171x90mm, the Officejet 150 Mobile All-in-One is small enough to fit inside a rucksack, and runs on a lithium-ion battery that provides enough power to print up to 500 pages from a single charge.

The HP Officejet 150 Mobile is a refresh to the HP Officejet Mobile 100, a useful accessory that earned a 7.5/10 CNET editors' rating back in 2011 for its flexible connectivity options, Bluetooth accessibility, and rechargeable battery, CNET writes.

This time around, HP updates the mobile inkjet sidekick with quick scanning and copying directly to a compatible USB drive or memory card.

The printer's physical composition retains the same general clamshell design of its predecessor, but adds a 2.36-inch touch-screen for managing image outputting tasks. The screen also acts as a home centre for changing scan destinations from the PCs, to e-mails, to a USB drive or memory card.

HP also said the device is great for businesses that need to e-mail documents immediately, such as for a freshly-signed contract, Expert Reviews notes.

Although the Officejet 150 has USB and Bluetooth for printing from a PC or mobile phone (Windows Phone is supported and BlackBerry users must pay for a third-party service), there's a lot you can do without touching a computer.
