At a recent press launch, Leaf International Communications, the exclusive handset distributors of HTC smartphones in South Africa, confirmed that HTC is now the official cellphone supplier to the Springbok rugby team.

We understand that South Africa is a 'sports mad' country and by supporting a genre which has, to date, been neglected by the mobile handset market, we hope to increase our local and global brand exposure and awareness. “The sponsorship entails Leaf making available HTC handsets to all the Springbok rugby players and their management team.
