Huawei welcomes new communication minister's vision!

Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solution provider, today welcomed the statement of new Communications Minister, Dina Pule. CEO of Huawei Technologies Africa, Peng Song, said the minister's first statement delivered this week, in which she committed to “action the department's priorities with speed to achieve results that deliver ICT services to our people”, provides solid direction for the ICT industry and all role-players to begin anticipating the future challenges of the sector and map out plans on how to bridge the digital divide.

“Her focus on industry partnerships and commitment to delivering 100% broadband penetration by 2020 is indicative of the fact that she is driven to bring results.
