ICL has appointed i-Tech Business Systems as a reseller for the KVS Enterprise Vault eMail management suite of products. i-Tech has represented kVault Software (KVS) as an EMEA partner for the last three years and recently signed a reseller agreement with ICL to sell the products locally in SA.
"The South African corporate market is becoming increasingly aware for the need for an e-mail archiving solution and huge growth is expected in the coming year. This is being fuelled by growing e-mail data stores and legislation covering the retention of e-mail records," says ICL solutions marketing manager Liesl Muller.
"KVS Enterprise Vault for Microsoft Exchange assist corporates in complying with legislation regarding the retention of e-mails and adds value to Microsoft Exchange by providing the opportunity to more efficiently and cost-effectively manage the impact of growing e-mail data stores," she explains.
ICL appointed i-Tech based on its experience in KVS installations. One of i-Tech`s reference sites includes the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) of SA.
"i-Tech successfully installed and rolled out KVS countrywide to 1500 users located at 21 offices," says i-Tech Director Craig Ricardo. "The experience gained from this installations will assist us in working with ICL on further installations."

New research from Gartner has found e-mail archiving software vendor KVS listed in the leader quadrant, placing KVS as the only vendor in the Leaders Quadrant in Gartner`s Email Active-Archiving Magic Quadrant.
