Solutions provider i5 has won the Partner of the Year award for Independent Software Vendor Solutions at the 2007 Microsoft Partner Summit held recently in Sun City.
In addition, i5 was a finalist in the Information Worker Solutions, Licensing Solutions, Business solutions and Winning Customer Initiative Awards.
In business for just four years, i5 has featured prominently in Microsoft's awards programmes, consistently winning accolades for the past three years in succession in various categories.
According to Glen Ansell, i5 managing director, this year's success was attained with the company's Rezonance software solution set, which enhances the capabilities of Microsoft CRM 3.0. "The Rezonance bundles provide Microsoft CRM 3.0 with various add-on products, enhancing the functionality and extensibility of the core modules: sales, services and marketing," Ansell explains.
He says Rezonance bundles various benefits such as alerting, system dashboard, multi-field search and summary and other advanced analysis capabilities, while providing the flexibility of per user or per server licensing.
Ansell notes that i5 initiated its Microsoft ISV partnership just a year ago. "We believe in committing ourselves fully to our chosen business disciplines and believe this is borne out by our success in the ISV category," he says.
Furthermore, he points out that i5 was one of only two companies which are not large account resellers (LAR) to be nominated in the Licensing Solutions category. "Coming in as a finalist in this category is an indication of the effort we have put into this line of business and reflects the growing scope i5 has in the market," he comments.
The company's strategic focus on the Microsoft technology stack is standing it in good stead. "We have been a Gold partner for three years and our commitment to the Microsoft solution stack has been recognised, with nominations and awards from year one across a range of categories. We believe the Independent Software Vendor award reinforces our value proposition and ability to provide the solutions that businesses need to power their success," Ansell concludes.
The i5 group was founded by Glen Ansell in 2003 and started as a technical consulting firm focused exclusively on Microsoft technologies. With the company's rapid growth, it continued to differentiate itself by maintaining a very close working relationship with Microsoft and creating an unmatched pool of expertise in most Microsoft technologies. Our primary competence lies in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Information Worker; our specialisation in customised CRM, intranets, portals and call centres have secured us prime position in the market as niche specialists with a high level of customer satisfaction and technology optimisation. We have received numerous accolades from Microsoft with our accreditations and awards; winning three at Microsoft Partner Summit 2006 and the Independent Software vendor of the year in 2007.
