IA Systems has recently been awarded a contract at the Independent Development Trust (IDT) to implement an electronic document management and records management system within its legal department and project management support office.
"The IDT has a requirement to manage and control all of our corporate records," says Eric Thoba, Executive Manager, Information Technology. "Our legal department and project management support unit deal with large volumes of both paper and electronic documents and critical to the success of their operations is speedy access and control over the documents as they move through their active lifecycle and into their archive period."
After intensive evaluation of different solutions, IDT selected IA Systems solution based on Hummingbird document management and records management technology.
