IBM boosts call centre agent numbers
IBM initially opened its Daleville call centre in 2008, at a former outlet mall along Interstate 69.
The new employees will be working at IBM's Heartland Business Centre, joining the ranks of 500 call centre workers who already report to this location on a daily basis.
IBM said the new workers have already successfully completed the training process, and will report to work immediately.
According to IBM officials, the centres in Daleville are continually working to secure new business to support added expansion, writes Inside Indiana Business.
Their commitment to customer service, efficiency, accountability and value has created a culture of excellence, which has translated into meaningful business results, and value for IBM Daleville's customers.
The IBJ.com says workers at the IBM centre take calls on behalf of a variety of clients.
