IBM creates Jazz programme
IBM's Rational Software division is creating a partner programme around its Jazz collaborative software development and delivery system, offering technical, sales and marketing support to ISVs, resellers and systems integrators, says ChannelWeb.
IBM Rational Software, which is holding its annual development conference in Orlando, US, this week, also unveiled 20 products from IBM and development partners built around the Jazz technology.
Jazz, developed by IBM Rational and IBM Research and released last year, provides next-generation tools for real-time collaborative software development by geographically dispersed development teams.
Mayflex distributes Extreme
Extreme Networks has signed up Mayflex Middle East as a distribution partner. Under the terms of the agreement, Mayflex, which describes itself a cabling, networking and IP security solutions distributor, will push Extreme kit across the Middle East and Africa, says Channel EMEA.
Mayflex will assist Extreme in terms of channel development and boosting overall sales.
Mayflex was the first distributor in the UK for Extreme Networks, and has grown to be one of its largest partners over the last 10 years.
DDS joins Channel 100
Storage and networking solution provider Hifn welcomed Dallas Digital Services (DDS) last week to its Channel 100 Partner Programme, says Education Channel Partner.
As a channel partner, DDS will resell and integrate Hifn's Swarm iSCSI storage appliances. Based on the scalability of the product, the company will be able to target both large and small organisations.
Hifn's Channel 100 Partner Programme will provide Dallas Digital Services with Web-based training, lead generation services, discounted demo units, public relations support, as well as other resources to aid in the company's marketing and sales efforts.
