Tarsus Technologies, a member company of JSE-listed MB Technologies, in conjunction with IBM, has announced the IBM Extreem Incentive scheme which is valid till end-October 2001.
"It`s simple," states IBM product manager, Warren Small. "For every stipulated item a reseller sells, he/she will automatically be entered into a draw to win an Extreem adventure in Queenstown, New Zealand, including return flights from Johannesburg to Christchurch and four nights accommodation.
"The Extreem Incentive will include activities like action-packed jet boating, bungee jumping at the Skippers Canyon, 102m above the Shotover River, and Zorbing.
"The Zorb is the latest adventure experience provided by New Zealand and originated from ancient drawings by Leonardo da Vinci. The Zorb is an air sphere with a person inside (known as `the Zorbonaut`). The idea is that as the ball rolls around, the person inside becomes pinned to the inside. The air cushion keeps him safe as he hurtles down the side of a hill at speeds of up to 50km/h.
"Our aim with this incentive is to thank our resellers for providing quality service to our clients and for supporting an IBM`s Extreem product range," concludes Small.
