IBM unveils system
IBM has unveiled a business analytics system, a bundle of preconfigured and optimised hardware and software, designed to cut deployment time, reports ZDNet.
The system is designed to complement and enhance IBM's existing business analytics service.
The system will also have optional business intelligence (BI) and data mining software.
InetSoft ennhaces BI for SaaS
InetSoft Technology has upgraded its BI software, featuring many improvements aimed at software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers who embed dashboards and reports into their applications, states TMCnet.
Application providers will enjoy greater customisation options while being able to streamline administration tasks associated with supporting large customer bases.
InetSoft's core product, Style Intelligence, is a full-featured BI solution that is 100% Java at the server level and HTML, JavaScript, and Flash at the client level, combined with its SOA architecture and open standards-based technology.
Yellowfin updates mobile BI offering
Yellowfin, a Web-based BI software provider, has released Yellowfin 4.1, the next generation of the Yellowfin product suite, according to ebizQ.
With more than 80 new features, Yellowfin says the updated suite helps organisations see and understand their data better than ever.
New dashboard and visualisation capabilities, along with federated queries and a host of improvements to spatial BI, make 4.1 ideal for rapid BI deployments, according to the company.
