ICL South Africa has entered into a reseller partnership agreement with Xerox Channels Group as part of its Xtraordinary Performer programme.
ICL SA general manager for marketing and sales, Dilley Naidoo, says Xerox Channels Group was selected as it is a well-respected technology company with considerable experience in the printer market - the company actually pioneered laser printing technology - backed up by a superior support network and commitment to clients.
As a member of the Xtraordinary Performer programme, ICL SA will benefit from competitive pricing, co-operative advertising, access to evaluation equipment, margin protection, and dedicated account management.
"The corporate end-user will also benefit from the relationship," says Angie Samuel, marketing manager at XCG SA.
"The primary benefits include support for medium- to high-end laser printing models, readily available equipment, a toll-free support hotline and 240 fully trained technicians around the country."
ICL SA account manager, Stephen Coetser, adds that ICL secured its first major Xerox deal recently when it supplied the SABC with three Xerox N32 laser printers, valued at close on R140 000, which the broadcaster intends using to print production log files. The N32`s capabilities include printing 32 pages per minute, and stapling.
