Icode has launched Accware - Version 5.0, the latest version of its enterprise software solution for small and medium-sized enterprises worldwide. Accware is a full accounting and business management system which is built on a client/server platform.
Accware 5.0 provides a large number of features that will e-enable your business. Included features are full e-commerce capability (with associated product Accware Online) as well as integrated contact management and e-mail facilities, including e-mail triggers for user defined and system events. Accware even provides online users with a product configuration option to configure items to their specification over the Internet.
Multi-user versions of Accware 5.0 come standard with a robust database back-end. The software takes advantage of transaction processing with roll-back technology to protect the data against corruption and ensure integrity of the system if there were a workstation failure.
Other key features of the product include data export options for all browsers; streamlined drop-ship/buy-out processing with automated link; contact manager with calendar integration; and 32-bit MDI architecture. The product also includes dynamic price updates which can be configured to automatically change selling prices as the cost changes.
Accware has been designed for enterprises engaged in retail, wholesale, distribution, mail order and service operations. It serves as a single integrated platform for all departments of an enterprise, including accounting and e-commerce, purchasing, sales, inventory control, marketing, customer service, shipping and returns authorisation. In other words, Accware is one software to run your entire business, from bricks to clicks.
South African customers will be supported by a three tier support system consisting of local qualified resellers (ICERs) and engineers (ICEEs), The South African partner (Icode Certified Partner) based in Cape Town, and the developers themselves, who provide e-mail, ICQ and remote login support via the Internet. VOIP support is also being investigated.
