ICS wins contracts

Belfast-based technology firm ICS Computing is to create 50 jobs after winning a number of NHS contracts in the UK, says SiliconRepublic.

ICS has won contracts to provide and pension services to two major NHS trusts.

The company will provide payroll services to both the Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, which provides mental health and substance misuse services to 1.2 million people in the north west of England, and the North West Ambulance NHS Trust, the largest ambulance service in Europe.

COA unveils OpenPeople Lite

UK business management and information systems provider, COA Solutions, unveiled an addition to its Smart Business Suite, human capital management product OpenPeople Lite, states Personneltoday.com.

This 'out of the box' version of COA Solutions' OpenPeople HCM system has been tailored to meet the needs of small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

OpenPeople Lite is an integrated HR and payroll system, which comes with the benefit of a fixed fee implementation, enabling SMEs to cost-effectively manage and streamline their HR and payroll processes.

Ceridian enhances HR, payroll solutions

Ceridian Corporation, a provider of managed HR and payroll outsourcing solutions, unveiled an enhanced Ceridian PayCard solution that is fully integrated with its Web-based HR and payroll products, according to PRWeb.

Companies have the option of paying their employees using printed cheques, direct deposits, and the Ceridian PayCard option.

Employees can enjoy the and convenience of an electronic payment without the additional check cashing fees.
