ICSA Boardroom Apps has released version 6 of its popular BoardPad solution. This release provides improved speed in opening documents as well as a cleaner layout.
The new features include:
* A redesigned reading room with new features to reflect its popularity among executives as an essential tool for keeping up to date between meetings and for the daily review of documents from management teams and personal assistants.
* New dedicated screens for actions, news and documents.
* Enhanced search, sort and filter capabilities throughout.
* A refreshed design for BoardPad's interactive agenda, reflecting how it is used differently by executives before and during meetings.
* Updated annotation tools.
* A 'continue reading' feature to jump to the last page you were reading for each meeting.
* New optional security functions.
Mark Patterson of GreatSoft comments: "The new list of documents allows the participant to search across all their documents using filters. It saves having to open each meeting on the device to find that elusive document, thus making the participant more productive.
"The layout of the annotation tools has also been modified to group the more popular tools together. With over 3 000 licences in use on the continent, BoardPad continues to enjoy the same popularity it had on the original release in 2011."
Existing users will be able to download the new version from the app store.
