Have you ever felt like the more you learn about marketing, finance or management for your business, the more confused you get?
You know that it takes knowledge, dedication and effort if you`re going to build a successful business. You know it isn`t going to happen overnight. And anybody who tells you so shouldn`t be trusted.
You know that those people who are truly successful, (not those who just say they are in order to get you to buy their product!) those that enjoy the benefits of their success...passive income, financial independence, the freedom to structure their own lives, to travel, to spend time with their families; didn`t do it overnight.
But you know the opportunity is there, it`s real, and it`s worth the effort you`re willing to make.
The little guy, with the right help, and the right tools, and the right attitude, can succeed!
Bodibeng Technology Incubator is going to provide the tools, the ABC, the 123, the ideas and strategies that have helped other ordinary people just like you... become successful in business.
BTI, in line with its mandate to support information and communications technology businesses, has established the Bodibeng Entrepreneurial Training Institute (BETI) to provide quality business skills training to ICT entrepreneurs. BETI has subsequently partnered with a leading, SETA-accredited business-training provider - Blueprint Future Skills Development - and has tailored an Entrepreneurial Training Programme specifically aimed at technology-based businesses. BTI and Blueprint have formally committed to a working relationship for an initial period of one year.
This world-class competency-based programme will provide SMMEs with the knowledge and skills that will positively impact on building and growing their business. The training consists of a comprehensive curriculum that will have specific focus on areas that will have immediate effect on the way SMMEs conduct and operate their companies.
Lack of skills and business training has been identified as one of the major contributors to the failure of SMMEs generally and technology-based businesses in particular.
The training`s major objective is to empower entrepreneurs to run successful enterprises.
BETI is running the second module of the training course, "Finance for Non-Financial Managers" - a two-day programme designed to provide the necessary financial skills to succeed in today`s business climate. The participants will learn:
* Basic finance skills
* Business models
* Budgeting
* Making capital decisions
* Analysing performance
* Planning for the future
* Increasing shareholder value
Who should attend: Small business owners and non-financial personnel who need a better understanding of the financial aspects of the business in order to perform their responsibilities.
Expected outcomes: The programme includes real-life practice sessions for real world results and covers ALL aspects related to the financial management of the enterprise. The module forms part of the NQF level 4, New Venture Creation qualification.
