iData brings affordable printers to mobile workers

iData Distribution, a leading value added distributor of automated identification and mobile technologies for the reseller market in southern Africa, expands its range of portable printers with the addition of the Apex and S2000i product line from Datamax-O'Neil, which brings cost-effective mobile printing to field workers.

The introduction of new Apex range and S2000i means that iData can now offer its reseller partners a complete range of portable printers for all applications and budgets, from entry level, midrange to high end, performance printing.

The inclusion of the new range of portable printers follows Datamax-O'Neil's recent acquisition of the Data Systems Division of Extech, a world leading developer of portable printers for enterprise-wide applications.

The new line of thermal and dot matrix portable printers will be positioned as the ideal match to Datamax-O'Neil's premium desktop and mobile portfolio with the addition of a full line of high-value, cost-competitive printers for mobile requirements, including POS (point of sale), hospitality, route accounting and field services.

Appealing to price-sensitive and entry level applications, these printers are available in 2, 3 and 4-inch configurations and are easy to use and integrate to other systems and can provide specific solutions to various business challenges.
