German business process specialist IDS Scheer, creator of the ARIS process modelling toolset and represented locally by CCH Enterprise Solutions, has acquired ACQRA, a rapidly growing e-business consulting firm targeting dot-com companies and other "new-economy" enterprises. As a preferred partner of Great Plains and Siebel, ACQRA has in-depth knowledge of implementing ERP and CRM solutions. With ACQRA`s focused e-business portfolio, solid client base, and strategic partnerships, the IDS Scheer Group will be in a position to tackle new market segments.
ACQRA specialises in the design of e-business strategies and models, including front-end integration and back-office integration. In the ERP sector, ACQRA is a preferred partner of Great Plains, the leading provider of mid-market and dot-com ERP solutions. In the CRM sector, ACQRA is a partner of Siebel, the premier CRM solutions provider.
ACQRA has more than 50 clients, half of which are "new-economy" modelled enterprises. The company`s client base includes Half.com, GVOX Interactive Music, 4anything Network, and BNP Cooper Neff Group. ACQRA also provides nationwide services to the US Government`s National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). ACQRA is experiencing annual growth rates of 50% with continuously increasing earnings. Founded in April 1998, the company employs 30 people.
"ACQRA, as part of the IDS Scheer organisation, will be able to leverage its business process methodologies into our target client base of dot-coms and other firms creating a `new-economy` model. The synergies between our two firms are phenomenal," says Jeff Michaels, CEO and founder of ACQRA. "We view the acquisition of ACQRA, and its core strengths of providing e-business solutions to `new-economy` companies, as a tremendously valuable addition to the group," says Kevin Swint, CEO of IDS Scheer.
