Swedia Networks, one of Europe`s largest companies in the construction, maintenance and operations of telecom and computer networks, has selected IFS Applications as its core business applications. The agreement is valued at SEK 18 million.
Swedia Networks aims to further improve customer service and reduce costs by streamlining administration. The company will implement IFS components for project management, purchasing, maintenance, financials, inventory and human resource management.
Thomas Strandberg, senior vice president at Swedia Networks, said: "We run complex global operations with a wide variety of agreements, from construction contracts and national service contracts to complete responsibility for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of major networks. IFS Applications covers our needs without requiring us to customise the system. As a result, we get a very cost-effective solution."
IFS Applications for Telecom includes functionality that supports key processes in the expansion and operation of telecommunication networks. More than 40 companies in 14 countries have chosen the IFS Applications for Telecom.
