Imperva (NYSE: IMPV), a pioneer and leader of a new category of business security solutions for critical applications and high-value business data in the data centre, today announced it has been named to CRN's 2013 Partner Program Guide, and awarded a 5-Star Partner rating.
"We believe the data centre security market is growing rapidly, and Imperva is well positioned to capitalise on this growth due to the breadth and depth of our product offerings," said Ted Plumis, vice-president of worldwide channels at Imperva and a CRN 2012 Channel Chief.
"This award demonstrates that we view the scale and support offered by the channel as a key component to attaining category leadership. It also validates our commitment to deliver world-class support to a growing and diverse channel ecosystem comprised of resellers, distributors, and system integrators, as well as cloud and managed service providers."
The CRN Partner Program Guide lists manufacturers and software publishers that service solution providers or provide products to the IT channel. The guide recognises those vendors who have channel programmes and derive a portion of their sales through the indirect IT channel. The 5-Star Partner Program rating recognises an elite subset of Partner Program Guide vendors who give solution providers the best partnering elements in their channel programmes.
The list methodology is based on objective criteria that takes into account each vendor's investments in programme offerings, partner profitability, partner training, education and support, marketing programmes and resources, sales support and communication. Vendors are assessed using information provided in their completed applications.
The Imperva PartnerSphere Program is a network of best-of-breed service providers, value-added resellers and technology companies who have joined with Imperva to deliver and support world-class business security solutions. Members are able to leverage Imperva's expert sales, marketing and technical resources to grow their business - examples include access to training Webinars, newsletters, joint lead generation and a comprehensive partner portal.
"The companies listed in CRN's 2013 Partner Program Guide represent a comprehensive list of the best channel programmes in the market today," said Kelley Damore, senior vice-president and editorial director for UBM Tech Channel's CRN. "The 5-star award is reserved for vendors that understand that a successful partnership does not rely solely on the technology. By offering their partners tools, education and regular updates, vendors on this list go above and beyond traditional support to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership."
