Quintica, the South African distributor of the Marval Service Management (MSM) application, will deliver the Marval solution component to Saudi-based service provider iNet as part of the recently signed multimillion-dollar contract between Dimension Data and iNet.
Dimension Data is partnering with iNet, a leading managed services provider with a strong client base in the service provider, telecom, government, enterprise and multinational sectors, to deliver a comprehensive suite of managed services to the Saudi Arabian market.
Charles Osburn, a director of Quintica, says the Marval solution, based on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices disciplines for service delivery and service management, is an important component of Dimension Data's offering to iNet.
"Part of the deal is the provision by Dimension Data of its MSC (Managed Service Centre) solution which includes the Marval-based service management application," says Osburn.
"In addition, Quintica will design an ITIL-based training programme for iNET staff, through which they will become certified to the highest level, as specified by the ITIL Foundation through its 'EXIN' accreditation procedure."
Quintica will work with Dimension Data on the requisite Marval linked business processes to support Dimension Data's MSC solution.
"We are supplying this via our packaged Q-Scan and Q-Go services integration of the Marval Service Desk which will also interface with Dimension Data's total MSC service management solution," says Osburn.
