Interactive Intelligence, a leading international business communications software developer, is continuing its user event series in South Africa, tailored specifically for its SA customers.
This annual event, which will take place on 17 June 2009 at the Automobile Association of South Africa's (AA) Kyalami offices, is a tribute to SA's phenomenal performance against other countries in the EMEA region.
The user event series follows feedback from customers on a better service offering and acts as platform for increased interaction between the company and its 70 local customers.
According to Meredith Egg, Field Marketing Manager at Interactive Intelligence, the company shifted in response from an EMEA-wide user event, which meant high travel costs and time commitments from the customers, to a local event format. “We now host local customer events in several locations across Europe, Middle East and Africa and hope to strengthen our relationship with our customers and help build the local user community,” she says.
The sharing of information is partially from Interactive Intelligence to provide the customer with updates on product direction and future enhancements, but the customers also have the chance to meet and learn from each other.
Egg says that senior executives, including Interactive Intelligence's Regional Sales Director for UK, Middle East and Africa, Dave Paulding, will be there to answer questions customers may have on the products, and to take their suggestions back to the product development teams in the US.
The event will follow a lunch that enables networking, and to create a sense of community among Interactive Intelligence's users.
The 2009 South Africa user event is a free event for Interactive Intelligence customers.
