Incredible CEO steps down

The company this week told suppliers through an internal document that Miller would leave after a decade with the company.

Parent company JD Group CEO Grattan Kirk thanked Miller for his contribution. FD Stefan Marnewick will take over the role until a “suitable replacement” is found, Kirk wrote in the letter.

“While we are saddened by David's [Miller's] pending departure, it is with our sincere best wishes that we say farewell.”

Incredible Connection, which has about 60 stores across SA, retails technology products. It aims to “be the dominant information technology retailer in SA”.

In the last financial year, sales grew 8.5% on a like-for-like basis. Adding in the three stores opened in 2011, turnover gained 10.7%.
