IndigoCube will be hosting a seminar by Ruud Teunissen, on 6 March, on the future of software testing. Teunissen is a veteran of the software testing industry and co-authored the TMap^1 framework and methodology for software testing. He is a senior test architect at Polteq, a Dutch software testing consultancy with which IndigoCube recently entered into a partnership.
Much in demand on the international speaking and training circuit, Teunissen will be looking at IT trends that will affect testing. His insider's view of the industry will give the local testing community insight into how their roles are likely to change, and why.
"Software testing has become a key success factor for businesses now that technology has become the platform on which the vast majority of commerce occurs," says Aldo Rall, principal consultant at IndigoCube. "As testing and business become more closely aligned, so the testing community needs to understand what pressures are driving business strategy. This seminar is a must-attend for anyone in testing who wants to understand more about where his or her career is headed."
A peek at the future of software testing is offered free and will be of interest to software testers, test managers, delivery managers, project managers and software development managers. The seminar will be held at the IBM Auditorium at 70 Rivonia Road, Sandton, on 6 March 2014, with registration from 8:30am. The seminar runs from 9am until 11am.
