Infiniti appoints incubator to unlock distribution wealth

New investment company, Incubator Ltd., has signed its first client, Infiniti Technologies (Pty) Ltd. Under the terms of this agreement, Incubator Ltd. has received the sole mandate from Infiniti to restructure, refocus and list off the distribution companies of Infiniti, leaving Infiniti to concentrate on expanding its value-added businesses which currently include Pin-Point, Integral Support Services (ISS), Bosele Training and Careers, Infiniti N-terprise Solutions (INS) and the Customer Contact Centre (TC3).

The two companies, HNR and FSA Distribution, which effectively merged last week into a single entity - FSA Distribution, will be incorporated into a new focused distribution supergroup.

Glennie, who has 15 years experience in the IT and financial markets and is CEO of Incubator Ltd. and former CEO of FSA Distribution says, "The business of the new group will be focused purely on distribution. Getting the business model right is vitally important in distribution as we have proved in the past."

While the details of the mandate have not been disclosed, Incubator will play an investor`s role in the new company and will facilitate all negotiations and acquisitions. Incubator will also be responsible for securing an international strategic partner and will ultimately list the new group.

Mike Roussos, CEO of Infiniti says, "With this move, Infiniti will realise a sizeable sum of cash and will be able to focus on expanding our value added businesses thereby delivering superior returns to our shareholders. We believe there is a lot of value to be made in distribution, but that it is best done within a focused strategy. This will now be achieved through the relationship with Incubator."

Glennie says the new company will be a broad based distribution group and will distribute hardware, software, networking products, personal computers and other related products. "We currently have three acquisitions pending that will complete this group and these will be announced over the next few months," says Glennie.
