Infor today announced it will hold its inaugural African customer event - Inforum Africa 2009 - on Tuesday, 7 July 2009 at the Emperors Palace Hotel, Johannesburg.
This event gathers Infor customers, partners, prospective customers and industry experts who want to connect, learn and maximise the value of their Infor solutions. Educational sessions, customer case studies and product-specific networking opportunities unite attendees with others in similar business environments.
Senior Infor executives will be presenting, including: Bruce Gordon, chief technology officer; Beno^it de la Tour, senior vice-president EMEA; Jean-Philippe Pommel, vice-president EMEA Channels and Mike Hibbert, channel manager Africa.
They will present insights into the future of business software and will discuss the impact of major business trends in the software industry, including globalisation, mobility and collaboration, and how the use of business software will evolve. Bruce Gordon will further elaborate on the latest Infor product developments, in particular Infor Open SOA, Infor's standards-based approach for the integration of both Infor and non-Infor systems and data sources.
