Recently launched database-driven software solution company InfoSpeed has formed a partnership with software developer OpenIT Solutions.
InfoSpeed is also on the verge of formalising a black empowerment deal, which will see a black businessman take ownership of a 26% stake, the company says.
Further details of the BEE deal cannot be divulged, says MD Colin Ashby, as discussions are still under way.
OpenIT MD Schalk de Klerk has bought a 23% shareholding in the company for an undisclosed amount, Ashby says, adding that the two companies will operate separately.
"The agreement between the two companies is InfoSpeed will buy OpenIT`s software products and re-sell them to clients," says Ashby.
