Infosys` technology-led business solutions have earned the recognition of industry bodies. A key Infosys project for ABN AMRO has won the best IT Services Technology Project of the Year at the CNET UK Awards, says CNN Money.

In addition, Eastman Kodak Company conferred Infosys with its Supplier Certification Award for Excellence for the second consecutive year.

Infosys won the SAP ACE 2007 (Award for Excellence). SAP recognised Infosys as a partner in its "journey of continued evolution and success in the professional services industry".

MKS Instruments names VP

MKS Instruments, a provider of process control technologies for improving productivity in semi-conductor and other advanced manufacturing processes, announced that John Lee has joined the company as group VP, responsible for control and IT and electrostatic discharge products, states CNN Money.

Lee, who joins MKS from Applied Materials, will report directly to Leo Berlinghieri, CEO and president.

Most recently, Lee served in Applied Material`s Solar Business Group as MD of the Technology and Solutions Integration Group. Earlier, he was GM of the Cleans Product Group and the Maydan Technology Center.

He joined Applied from Lucent Technologies, where he was research director of the Silicon Fabrication Research Department.

MSC partners with VISTAGY

MSC , global provider of enterprise simulation solutions, today announced a strategic partnership agreement with VISTAGY, a provider of specialised engineering software, reports CNN Money.
