
InfoVista reveals programme
InfoVista has revealed a new value-added reseller (VAR) programme initiative for its 5View product suite, a line of network appliances for application performance monitoring and analysis, says TMCnet.com.
InfoVista established its 5View partner programme to provide VARs with best-in-class solutions and to establish new sales channels for the 5View product suite.
"InfoVista's 5View partner programme emphasises our commitment to the reseller channel and brings our technology to new markets in need of service and quality assurance," said Alain Tingaud, chairman and CEO, InfoVista.
BroadSoft promotes BroadWorks
BroadSoft revealed at NXTcomm a channel partner programme to assist global sales of its BroadWorks VOIP applications in specific markets. Fifty existing partners have joined the new programme, says XChange.
Channel partners qualify for the programme based on their technology expertise, pre-existing service provider relationships and customer base.
In addition to BroadWorks, channel partners will have access to the Xtended Services Interface, which will enable them to integrate BroadWorks' calling features with Web-based applications to create new services.
VARs can view LAN
SMC Networks has unveiled a new managed services platform, which gives VARs the capability to monitor a customer's LAN, says Phone+.
SMC's solution enables the partners in its Elite partner programme to service their clients with monitoring, proactive technical installation and assistance backed by SMC's engineering support.
The platform offers cross-platform support for PC and Mac users; scripting for systems and software deployment; LAN discovery capability; proactive monitoring and alerts; and integrated help-desk and trouble ticketing. These functions are backed with management reporting.
