Installation of LAN between JHB and Pilgrim`s Rest mines

Due to the continued success of the LAN over the Internet project between Mali and South Africa carried out by Internet Direct in mid-2004 for a leading mining house, Internet Direct were once again contracted to establish a LAN running between JHB and Pilgrim`s Rest.

The criteria was to have the latest Pastel Accounting system installed in Pilgrims Rest, and then to have two branch offices routing to the server to connect and work on the Pastel Server.

The Project Plan included the supply and setup of all computer equipment, hardware and software. The proposal was accepted and implemented within two weeks from initial contact.
