Insys appointed the African distributor for Paris Technologies

Insys Business Solutions today announced that it had been formally appointed as the African sole distributor for Paris Technologies, and its associated product "PowerOLAP".

PowerOLAP is a real-time, on-line solution that dynamically performs powerful, multidimensional, business-modeling manipulations through the familiar spreadsheet interface on organisational data, as that data is recorded in real time. As such, PowerOLAP seamlessly connects current database systems, an optimised OLAP database engine and the familiar spreadsheet into a faster, more powerful, flexible, single application.

"There is a huge void in the decision support market. Today`s spreadsheet, database and OLAP tools lack the ease-of-use, sophisticated analytical power and seamless connectivity needed for informed, time-sensitive decision-making. Decision support technology must be taken to the next level, to finally realise the original promise the market once held", commented Clayton Hayward, Sales and Marketing Director for Insys Business Solutions. " The PowerOLAP product does exactly this, and we are delighted to be Paris Technologies African distributor, thus bringing a world class solution to the local market", Hayward added.
