Integr8 IT has strengthened its business alliance with Computer Associates (CA). The national network integration specialist recently became a CA Enterprise Partner, adding clout to its profile as one of only two CA 'Insiders` worldwide. At the beginning of the year Integr8 IT become the only company in SA to be awarded `Insider` status with CA. This achievement opened up additional business opportunity with regard to the selling, implementation and service of CA`s product range.
According to regional account manager at CA Africa, Dion Gerrans, the `Insider` programme originated in Europe and is based on the recognition of key resellers identified for their success in selling, implementation and service with regard to CA`s range of products. `Insiders` are then used to perform pre-sales demonstrations to potential clients because of their ability to offer total solutions and ongoing support should the deal be successful. This is preferential to Computer Associates proposing a solution only to have the dealer initiate the sales cycle once again and fulfil obligations made by another party.
In essence, the programme creates a close bond between CA and the reseller, and ties them both into the customer.
As newly a recognised Enterprise Partner, Integr8 IT not only retains its Insider status but also benefits from the advantages of the highest accolade CA gives its partners.
Gerrans says the company`s products enjoy widespread use among local companies, especially within security and storage markets. "CA is entrenched in the local market. Most people are unaware of this. Our products are in use in most companies, especially our storage and security offerings. We are currently experiencing phenomenal growth in the Africa market and this trend is expected to continue."
Integr8 IT`s network integration and support skills, as well as its proven track record in sales and service levels, has elevated it above competition and helped it navigate a route into CA.
